The Fancy Dress Competition was organised by Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli on 13th August 2022 to commemorate the 75th Independence Day, from 7.30 am to 12 noon in the third floor hall. The topic of the competition was 'National Leaders'. It was for class I to IV. Around hundred students participated in this event.
The main purpose of conducting this competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of the audience.
Children were dressed in their colourful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted. The effort and hard work of the children were highly appreciable. The students displayed their talents on the theme 'National Leaders' with great enthusiasm. They dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Swami Vivekanand, Bhagat Singh etc. and emphasized upon their tremendous hard work and achievements.
The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
