Patriotic Dance Competition

On the occasion of completing 75 years of Independence a Patriotic Group Dance Competition was organised by Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli on 13th August,2022 for inculcating the spirit and values of Patriotism. The competition was held for classes 5th to 10th. Classes were divided into two groups, group A for classes 5th & 6th and group B for classes 7th to 10th. Total 34 groups consisting of 247 students participated in the competition. The students of all groups danced to the beats of Patriotic songs to reignite the feeling of Patriotism. The efforts and hard work of the students was clearly visible from their performances. Top three winning teams from each group were selected by the jury members viz Mrs.Betty Kapadan (PTA member), Mrs. Amreen Mulla (PTA member), and Teacher Mamta Patil. The judges congratulated all the winners and appreciated the performances of all the students. Winning teams were awarded with certificates. Through this patriotic dance competition students learnt how to work as a team which enhanced not only their team working skills but also the spirit of patriotism could be seen in each and every participant.
