Poem Recitation Competition (Std. I - IV)

Poetry is the core of literature. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students, the Poem Recitation Competition was organized by Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli on 10th September 2022 for classes I to IV at 7:30 a.m. in the third-floor hall. The main purpose behind conducting such a competition is to build self-confidence and develop oratory skills and self-expression. The topics for the competition for classes I and II were ‘Mother’ or ‘Friends’. And for classes, III and IV were ‘Nature’ or ‘School’. From each class, five students participated in the final round. The judges for this competition were Mrs. Anita Pandey and Mrs. Blessy Johnson. The winners were applauded and praised for their capabilities. The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students.
