English Elocution Competition

Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli always thrives to cater to the all- round development of the students. With this intention ‘English Elocution Competition’ was conducted by the Literary Club, for the students from classes V to X on Friday 9th September, 2022. The Competition was conducted in two rounds, first at the class level wherein all students participated, followed by the second round with selected participants.18 students from classes V to VII and 14 students from classes VIII to X were the finalists. They presented their views in the time slot of 2 minutes. The judges for the competition for the classes V to VII were Tr. Liby and Tr. Ramya and for classes VIII to X were Tr. Sreekumary and Tr. Sreelata. The Participants delivered their speeches with great confidence. They displayed oratory skill with zeal and enthusiasm. The competition was concluded successfully with few words of encouragement by the judges.
