‘Let us move from untruth to truth and from darkness to light.’
The Diwali celebrations at school often mean a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the class. The activities permeate the school premises with an atmosphere of togetherness and hope. The young students proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries. To mark the occasion, Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli organized the Diwali Celebration program on 21st October 2022.
The program started with a prayer dance followed by a prayer service and prayer song at 11:00 a.m. various cultural programs like entertainment dances and group songs were presented one after the other by the students. There was a skit presented by the students of grade V which depicteting the story of Lord Rama, a celebration of the day ,Rama's return to his kingdom Ayodhya with his wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana after defeating Ravana after the completion of exile for 14 years .Later, our honorable Principal Sr. Sushmita gave an inspirational speech on the topic of eco-friendly Diwali. She also requested all the students not to use firecrackers as it causes a lot of air pollution and she wished everyone for Happy and Safe Diwali. Lastly, the program ended with the national anthem.
