FAREWELL CEREMONY OF USHA MA'AM AND JYOSHNA MA'AM

 'Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end’ The farewell ceremony of Mrs. Usha Raju and Jyotsna Gawas was held at Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli on 3rd January 2023. Mrs. Usha Raju and Mrs. Jyotsna Gawas was a part of this institution for the past 13 years and 5 years respectively. Mrs. Usha Raju and Mrs. J Jyotsna Gawas was escorted by the Manager Sr. Elita and Principal Sr. Sushmita to the venue with a grand reception of band and showering of flowers. Mrs. Shreelata Secretary of the school introduced Usha Raju and Mrs.Trupti from the accounts department introduced Mrs. Jyotsna Gawas. The Manager Sr. Elita felicitated Mrs. Usha Raju with a shawl, card and a bouquet of flowers. The program commenced with lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer dance and a prayer service invoking God's blessings on both the teachers. Few student representatives from different classes spoke about Usha Raju ma'am in gratitude for all that the teacher has been doing for the students for the past 13 years. The program continued by dances from different States i.e. from Kashmir to Kanyakumari by the students of classes V to IX. The students of Std. IX rocked the stage with their dazzling performance on Bollywood songs of seventies, eighties and nineties. The Principal Sr. Sushmita through her words of praises praised both the teachers for their hardwork and dedication towards the school. Usha ma'am addressed the gathering and through her emotional speech tried to recollect her days in Carmel. She also inspired the children to work hard in order to achieve success. She asked the students to be good and disciplined. Mrs. Jyotsna also spoke to the children regarding her experience in Carmel and the bonding that she had formed for the past 5 years. The program concluded with a School Anthem.
