ROAD SAFETY WORKSHOP (1ST TO 15TH JANUARY 2023)

On the eve of Road Safety Week, Carmel Convent High School -Kalamboli, conducted a workshop on 16th January, 2023 at 8.00 a.m. in the school ground floor hall. Mr. Chandrakant Mane (Motor Vehicle Inspector, Panvel), Mr. Rohit Pawar (Ass. Motor Vehicle Inspector, Panvel) were the Chief Guests to conduct the session. The session started with a welcome speech by teacher Mrs. Rekha Sunke and the guests were honoured with bouquets by our Principal Sr. Sushmita. Mr. Rohit Pawar interacted with the students regarding the importance of Road Safety for students, parents and van drivers. Mr. Chandrakant Mane through his speech threw light on various accidents which are happening due to the negligence of drivers, he also advised van drivers for different safety measures to follow. He also informed the students to report to parents and teachers if they found any wrongdoings by the van drivers. He also made the students aware about the right side while walking on the road. At last he expressed his gratitude to the school Principal Sr. Sushmita for giving the opportunity and arrangements for the valuable session. The Principal too had an interaction with the students regarding the safety measures to be taken on the road. Lastly, the session concluded with a Vote of thanks by teacher Priyanka Verma.
