CARMEL TREASURE RETREAT (CLASS IX)

“You’re my place of Quiet Retreat I WAIT for your word to RENEW ME – Psalm 119:114” ‘Carmel Treasure Retreat’ was held in Carmel Convent High School, Kalamboli for the studentsof Std.IX A, B and C from 30th January, 2023 to 4th February, 2023. Sr. Sushmita, our Principal, teachers, Dipti Ma’am from Gandhinagar conducted the Retreat for the students . The programme included Meditation,short videos, singing songs and Activities related to the sessions. The Retreat was conducted to bring out a transformation in the outlook of the students towards courageously facing the challenges of life and equip them for the future. Through the examples lives of great personalities who accepted failure and came out successfully were illustrated to the children. Retreat of this kind is held only in Carmel just to prepare the children for the future life. The Children expressed their experience of Retreat through the feedback information given by them. They enjoyed all the activities songs, role plays and group discussion, videos. The Retreat concluded with a prayer and refreshment for all.
