Carmel Convent High School conducted the Handing over ceremony for the academic year 2023-24 on the 9th of January, 2024.
The Program commenced with the beat of the band leading Sr.Elita the manager, Sr.Sushmita the Principal and members of the cabinet to the hall.
The Head Boy Gourinandan marched with a candle, a symbol of light which was placed in front of the statue of Mother of Carmel.
A prayer service was conducted followed by the Handing over Ceremony.
The cabinet members marched forward and placed their badges and satches in front of the statue of Mother of Carmel.
The Head Boy, Head Girl, Discipline Ministers and Cleanliness Minister gave a speech through which they thanked the management for the trust they had in appointing them and they also gave a gist of the work done by them throughout the year. Few students among the audience also spoke regarding the work of cabinet witnessed by them.
Sr.Sushmita the Principal gave a speech in which she thanked the cabinet for their selfless service throughout the year.
She also appreciated Gorinandan the Head Boy for the keen interest shown by him in maintaining the discipline and his dedication towards the assignments given to him during this academic year.
The program concluded with the school anthem.
